"HO HO HO"
Hallie could be heard practicing her best Santa whilst shopping on Black Friday.
It only seemed fitting as we made our way through the mall. Aunt Lisa taught Hallie how to give a nice big "ho ho ho" and Hallie happily obliged. The laughs and clapping from us kept her practicing. I've got to admit, it was pretty darn cute. The name of that jolly ol' man was mentioned. Santa Clause. Would he be ready for a visit from Hallie? We hadn't spotted him on our first run through the mall but sure enough there he was perched atop his Santa chair dressed in his red and white. A very young Santa but he had a nice beard going on. Lol! Santa's elves directed me to turn her back to Santa as we approached and sit her on his lap so that she couldn't see him. She's outsmarted us and looked up at him immediately. No tears or protests. Just an inquisitive look on her face as she stared into Santa's face. Hallie, meet Santa. Santa, meet Hallie Grace.....
"So you're telling me that I can ask for anything I want??"
Although this is Hallie's second Christmas, it is in fact her first time to meet the big guy. She seemed smitten and it probably had something to do with the fact that he promised lots of toys. ;)
