Date with Garth!!!!!

I made a HUGE check off my bucket list this February (yes, I'm that far behind again) when Riley and I saw the man, the myth, the legend...Mr. Garth Brooks.

Naturally we were surrounded by our bestest of friends for a fun weekend in Tulsa. We watched American Sniper that afternoon, did some shopping at the mall, had dinner and drinks with our Woodward crew before heading to the concert. Geez this man looks smokin' in a cowboy hat!!

The Stunning Starbucks....

The Ravishing Rogers....

The Magnificent Mills....

The Lovely Logans....

The Beautiful Borings....

The Handsome Haines's

Garth sang his heart out for over two hours straight. It was spectacular! He put on a late show that evening and I was wishing we could've stayed for a second time around. It was that good! The entertainment with friends afterwards made up for missing Garth though. Don't know what I'd do without that fun bunch!

Neighborhood snow day

Who needs snow gear when you have brand new rain gear???

She tested out her boots, coat and umbrella in the pretty fresh snow one March morning....

Look who came to visit....

The neighborhood kiddos were loving the white stuff (not a lot of snow in 2015) and took every opportunity to play around in it.....

Daddy pulled her on an old filing cabinet lid. Apparently we are cheap??? ;)

I parked down the road with Bella on my lap to watch all of these cute faces go sledding....

They looked like little sled dogs being pulled behind Steven's four-wheeler. Lots of giggles could be heard....

This is how Bella felt about missing out on the fun. Next year, sweat pea, next year....

Bella's First Thanksgiving

This picture right here tells me all I need to remember about Thanksgiving 2014. An extra blessing to be thankful for....

It was my family's turn to spend the day with us on Thanksgiving Day this year so we made the trip to Enid where Meg and Dad were hosting. Aunt Alta and her crew joined our fam for lunch and it was a perfectly beautiful day full of laughs, delicious food to fill out bellies and lots of catching up. Bella enjoyed every moment of her first Thanksgiving with her biggest fans....

What a difference four Thanksgivings make.....

Did I mention it was a beautiful day filled with so many reasons to be thankful....

The very next day we spent the afternoon with our Woodward family at Katie and Luke's house. Thanksgiving #2 was a tasty way to end our holiday indulgance. The girls had fun playing in Carmen's room and Bella soaked up all of the special attention.....

I love this picture.....

These girls are so much fun to watch as they grow up together....

We played a hilarious "thankful" game after we finished lunch. Riley just can't seem to ever follow the rules. It's always fun times with this crew....

Katie and Carmen met us at the movies that afternoon for some more entertainment.....

Penguins of Madegascar was really cute and the girls were great movie dates. :)

Another year passed, another abundance of blessings to count.
