Daddy's Girl

When dad walks through the door, the fun time begins. When dad inches closer toward his girl, the smiling begins. When dad picks up his girl and gives her a big kiss, the laughing begins. In other words...when dad walks through the door, mom no longer rates. Oh yes, she is a daddy's girl through and through. And it brings me so much joy to see how much fun they have together. Dad always seems to come up with some fun game. His imagination runs wild when it comes to entertaining his girl. For example....the bomb game, rocket ship game, tickle machine gun game, space shuttle game, school bus driver game, and best of all...........PUPPETS!!!!!!!!!

"See mom, this is why he's cooler than you."

"Even better than the Einstein puppets!!!"

What else is dad great for? Teaching babe to crawl of course...

Funny faces, silly noises and kisses galore....

"You are a riot dad!"

And unlike the way he treats mom when she is sick, he caters to his lil' lady. Mom gets a "why don't you try and go for a walk or something" when I'm sick. I used to think his sympathy bone was broken until Hallie came along. She gets extra hugs and kisses, 24 hour around the clock bottle holding, and plenty of TLC.

Making the hospital somewhat fun

And yet another reason why dad is cooler than anybody else....he lets Hallie do whatever she pleases.

"I never get to eat my diapers with mom"

Even though mom is usually singled out, there is one thing that Hallie and daddy disagree on.......

Oh yeah, that's momma's girl!

I can't wait to see my daddy's girl grow up and learn how to fish, hunt and fix up hot rods with dad. But lets not forget pedicures, shopping and being girly with mom every now and then! ;)
