Despite the constant shedding, snoring, bad breath, general laziness, lying in the most inconvenient spots, barking loudly, eating all of the dog food in the house, chewing up toys, etc, there is no denying that Lucy the Golden is quite possibly the sweetest dog in the world. Slightly needy....but sweet with Hallie Grace. And it did not take Lil Red long to realize this. She knows how to say Lucy's name but just sticks with the nickname she gave her when she first began talking...."Doo." They are best friends and enemies. Typically if Lucy is taking a snooze in front of the pantry doors Hallie lets her know all about. But today she seemed to embrace Lucy's size and sweet nature by taking a quick little rest with her. Or on top of her I should say.....
Riley and I laughing only egged her on more so she slid down Lucy's side like a slide and giggled once she hit the tile.....
The relationship is a give and take kinda thing. Lucy gives up her body as a jungle gym and Hallie gives up a few bites of her snacks. What kinda dog eats bananas?!?!?

Kindred spirts? I think so. Same color hair. A love for bananas. Demands attention. Yep, meant to be.
