Boomer Homecoming

Homecoming week was super fun for our Pre-K gal this year!

Crazy Hat Day

Sports Day

I can't remember this one.....but I'm gonna say Pink Day???? Lol

Boomer Day

Just a little ounce of silly oozed from this girl on our way to the Homecoming parade. She was giddy!!!

We sat on the curb with her best pal Kadence, worked up a sweat in the sun and hunted down as much candy as possible....

Oh and yelled at the floats passing by....

Can the growing just stop for a moment already!?!?!?!

Speaking of growing, I was a little too excited about dressing the wee one in her first Boomer cheer outfit. EEEEEEK!!!

Hal took in pre-game with her pal Marleigh....

And she even went down with Lily for the spirit line. Is she really big enough to be doing that already!?!?! (sigh)

Bella stayed snuggled up to Auntie Lauren in the stands....

And got some extra squeeeeeezes from the girls....

We survived until halftime with a fussy and wiggly baby girl and a four-year-old who was distraught that she had accidentally ordered a pickle pop instead of a popsicle. Oh the horror!

These girls will have many more years to get used to this homecoming business! But seriously though....enough with the growing up.....

Halloween Happenings 2014

Bella's first Halloween was jam packed full of so many opportunities for new memories to be made. The girls "helped" me decorate this year.....

We gladly dressed up for the trunk or treat at church where Hallie played games, ate snacks, won prizes, pet some animals and trunk or treated. I'm can already tell I'm going to miss this stage so much. It makes me more thankful for memories like these to keep in my mind......

She let daddy paint her face!

Pretty good throw for heels Miss Priss!

My masquerade beauty!

Riley's work crew donned their finest minion gear while their fearless leader passed for a very convincing villian.....

Nanny and Papa hosted their first annual Halloween Hoedown on the farm. Several families from church were able to come for dinner, games and roasting marshmellows. The kids were exhausted and filthy by the end of the evening. Nanny put a lot of effort into throwing such a fun party for kiddos and adults. Hallie dressed as a witch, Bella was a pretty ballerina, I was an old farmer and Riley made a last minute attempt to be "an artist" in a crazy outfit only he could pull off. Here are some pictures from our night on the farm with some of our favorite people......

Halloween day brought some beautiful sunshiny weather. It was so gorgeous that we were able to go to the park before it was time to get all dressed up for trick or treating. How sweet is this sister picture?!?!?!

Hallie looked beautiful as ever in her masquerade costume. I was so proud of her this year for picking out her own costume and together we made it happen.....

Pink and purple....

Purple and pink.....

The girlies made a stop by Paula and Jerry's for some extra special treats before we headed to the Moore's house for some dinner and fun.....

Once we got to the Moore's it was a nonstop fun night of kids running mad in their costumes, munching on a kitchen full of goodies, oooing and awwing over the baby's costumes and just enjoying the company of our best friends/Sunday school classmates....
