Every once in awhile the stars align and pure bliss is the result. My weekend in Tulsa with the girls was just that. A perfect, relaxing, hilarious time away from the routine of life. We all agreed it should be a yearly occurrence....and we've already planned next year's on the way home from this year's. ;)
Sarah did a fantastic job planning fun places to eat and things to do. Let's just say we ate gooooooooood. Friday night dinner at Yokozuna was fabulous and fun. Clearly.....
We ended the night on the rooftop at the Mayo where we felt a little out of place but had plenty of fun nonetheless. The moms of the bar.....
The next morning we indulged in the spa, breakfast on the patio, lounging around by the pool and just lying in bed with nothing to do....pure bliss I tell ya. That evening we got dolled up for dinner at an amazing Caribbean restaurant downtown. I feel like we tried just about everything on the menu...or maybe it was my stomach that felt like we tried everything on the menu. We strolled across the street to a quirky little place called Valkyrie where they had some big comfy booths and delicious drinks...with a chocolate shop next door. That was a must. The girls finished off the night playing cards while I watched/napped....I just couldn't hang. ;)
These girls are gifts I never expected when we moved to Woodward. God knew what he was doing when he put us all together. They bring laughter and a whole lot of smiles to my life and I've no clue what I'd do without them.....
